The exact scope, deliverables, pricing, and estimated timeline for each project will depend on the selected service or agreed quotation.

2. Placing an Order

Clients may place an order by contacting SEOKL through our website, email, WhatsApp, contact forms, or other approved communication channels.

Before work begins, we may require information necessary to fulfill the order, including:

  • Website URL
  • Business information
  • Target location or market
  • Target pages or services
  • SEO goals
  • Relevant keywords
  • Website or platform access where required
  • Other information necessary for the requested service

The client is responsible for providing accurate and complete information. Delays in providing required information may affect the start date or delivery timeline.

An order is considered accepted when SEOKL confirms the project, scope of work, or payment arrangement.

3. Pricing and Payments

Service prices may be listed on our website or provided through a custom quotation.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment requirements will be communicated before work begins. Depending on the service, SEOKL may require:

  • Full payment in advance
  • A deposit before work begins
  • Milestone-based payments
  • Monthly recurring payments
  • Payment after completion, where specifically agreed

Any special payment arrangement applies only when confirmed by SEOKL.

Clients are responsible for ensuring that payment is completed according to the agreed terms. Work may be paused or delayed if an outstanding payment remains unpaid.

4. Order Fulfillment

SEOKL will make reasonable efforts to fulfill each order according to the agreed scope of work.

Order fulfillment may include research, website analysis, strategy development, technical work, content optimization, link building, reporting, or other deliverables depending on the purchased service.

Delivery times may vary depending on:

  • The complexity of the project
  • Website size and technical condition
  • Competition within the target market
  • Client responsiveness
  • Availability of required access or information
  • Third-party platforms and services
  • Search engine updates and other factors outside our control

Any delivery date or timeline provided by SEOKL is an estimate unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing.

5. Client Responsibilities

To help us fulfill an order successfully, clients agree to provide accurate information and necessary cooperation.

The client is responsible for ensuring that:

  • They have the authority to request work on the website or business
  • Information provided to SEOKL is accurate
  • Necessary access is provided when required
  • Required approvals and feedback are provided on time
  • Website content and materials supplied do not violate applicable laws or third-party rights

SEOKL will not be responsible for delays caused by missing information, delayed approvals, unavailable access, or a lack of client cooperation.

6. Revisions and Changes

Where revisions are included in the agreed service, SEOKL will make reasonable revisions within the original scope of work.

Requests that significantly change the original requirements, add new pages, target additional locations, require additional work, or expand the agreed scope may be treated as a new service or additional order.

Any additional charges will be communicated where applicable before additional work begins.

7. SEO Results and Rankings

SEO is affected by many factors, including search engine algorithms, competition, website quality, technical issues, content, backlinks, user behavior, and third-party platforms.

For this reason, SEOKL cannot guarantee:

  • A specific Google ranking
  • A #1 position
  • Rankings within a specific period
  • A specific amount of traffic
  • A specific number of leads or sales
  • Continued rankings after the completion of a service

We use professional strategies and make reasonable efforts to improve search visibility based on the agreed scope of work. However, search engine results are outside our direct control.

8. Order Completion

An order will be considered fulfilled when the agreed deliverables have been completed and delivered according to the agreed scope.

Where applicable, deliverables may be provided through:

  • Email
  • Shared documents
  • Website implementation
  • Project reports
  • SEO reports
  • Approved communication channels

Clients should review completed work within a reasonable period and notify SEOKL of any issue related to the agreed deliverables.

9. Delays and Third-Party Factors

SEOKL is not responsible for delays or changes caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including:

  • Search engine algorithm updates
  • Google indexing delays
  • Hosting or server issues
  • Website downtime
  • Third-party platform changes
  • Client delays
  • Missing website access
  • Payment delays
  • Technical limitations
  • Force majeure events

Where possible, we will communicate significant delays that affect the agreed project timeline.

10. Cancellations

Clients may request cancellation of a service before work begins.

If work has already started, the cancellation request will be reviewed based on the amount of work completed, resources used, and the specific payment agreement.

For recurring monthly services, clients should provide notice before the next billing period where possible. Services already completed or work already performed may remain payable.

11. Refund Policy

Refund eligibility depends on the type of service, payment arrangement, and work already completed.

Because SEO and digital marketing services involve time, research, strategy, technical work, and professional resources, completed services are generally non-refundable.

If SEOKL is unable to begin or deliver a service due solely to our own failure, we may review the situation and determine an appropriate solution, which may include:

  • Completing the agreed work
  • Providing a reasonable revision
  • Offering a replacement service
  • Providing a partial or full refund where appropriate

No refund will be issued simply because a specific ranking, traffic level, lead volume, or business result was not achieved unless such a guarantee was explicitly agreed in writing.

12. Suspension or Termination of Services

SEOKL reserves the right to refuse, pause, or terminate services where necessary, including where:

  • Required payment is not received
  • The client provides false or misleading information
  • The requested activity may violate applicable laws
  • The client requests unethical, harmful, or prohibited SEO practices
  • Necessary cooperation or access is repeatedly not provided
  • Continued work becomes technically impossible or commercially unreasonable

Where appropriate, we will communicate the reason for suspension or termination.

13. Confidentiality

We respect the confidentiality of client information shared with us for the purpose of providing services.

We will use reasonable efforts to protect confidential business information and will not intentionally disclose it to unrelated third parties unless necessary for service delivery, required by law, or authorized by the client.

14. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed, materials, reports, strategies, or deliverables created specifically for a client may be provided for the client’s business use after applicable payment obligations have been fulfilled.

SEOKL retains ownership of its pre-existing methods, processes, templates, tools, systems, and general expertise.

Clients remain responsible for ensuring they have the right to use any content, images, trademarks, or other materials they provide.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, SEOKL will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses resulting from the use of our website or services.

Our services are provided based on professional efforts and the agreed scope of work. Clients remain responsible for their business decisions, website operations, advertising decisions, and compliance with applicable laws.

16. Changes to Orders or Terms

If you wish to change an existing order, please contact SEOKL as soon as possible. We will review whether the requested changes can be accommodated and whether additional costs or delivery time may apply.

SEOKL may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Updated terms will become effective when published on SEOKL.com.my unless otherwise stated.
